Where in the Appalachian Bioregion are we going?

Where in the Appalachian Bioregion are we going? The consensus was for the White Mountain National Forest (in the Northeast), or the Appalachian states of Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia. Spring Council selected a site in North Eastern Tennessee.

  2. nice roundabout way to get around the word "consensus" in that there consensus. ... "we celebrate", "we feel", "we recognize", "we have desire",.. and done by sunset, to the minute, nice work indeed! must've taken 8 hours to word it, as Montana was just about the only state mentioned by most all of those present for the first vision circle session yesterday. also, word, international gathering in 2013 will be in British Columbia, Canada! (get your passports, fam!)

    1. The state of Montanta is about the same size as the consensus areas for 2012 were. States in the east are smaller which is why we usually pick more of them when we're in the east.

    1. If the 4th of July gathering comes back to Tennessee it would be at least a decade if not longer. However, there are regional gatherings (small gatherings 50 - 1,000 people) that happen every year or two in a lot of areas. To get plugged in, call the lightline 770-662-6112.
